Description

Separation anxiety is one of the hardest things to live with, for you and your dog. The panic your dog feels when left alone is real, and it is treatable with the right, patient, evidence-based approach. Our programme uses gradual desensitisation to teach your dog that being alone is safe, working in small steps that always stay below the point of worry. It is never a quick fix, but with the right guidance it genuinely changes lives.

All support is remote, because that is what works best for separation anxiety. We observe your dog in their own home over video, without a stranger present to skew the picture, and we support you wherever you are.

How it works

  1. Initial assessment (£160). Every journey starts here. In a 60-minute remote session, we get to know you and your dog, watch how your dog copes with being left, and identify the exact point to begin. You will receive a written starting plan so you can take the first steps with confidence. Please book this before any support block.
  2. Four-week support block (£460), rebookable for as long as you need. This is where the real work happens, together. Each four-week block includes four weekly 60-minute video reassessments, four to five individual daily training plans a week, video review of your sessions with personalised feedback, and ongoing email support in between. The blocks are fully rebookable with no cap and no fixed-length course, so you continue one block at a time for as long as your dog needs and stop whenever you are ready. You only ever pay for the support your dog actually requires.
  3. Graduate top-up call (£95). Once you have completed the programme, you are always welcome back. This single 60-minute video call is there whenever you would like a refresher or help with a new situation.

What are daily training plans?

Between sessions, your dog’s progress is driven by short, custom exercises we create just for you. Each week you receive four to five individual training plans, one per training day, each tailored to exactly where your dog is that day and each taking only around fifteen to twenty minutes. You record them, we review them, and we adjust the next step to your dog’s response. Small, steady, achievable steps are the heart of how separation anxiety is resolved.

What is included in every support block

  • Four weekly 60-minute live video reassessments with your specialist
  • Four to five individual daily training plans each week, fully tailored to your dog
  • Video review of your training sessions with personalised feedback
  • Ongoing email support between sessions
  • A gradual, force-free plan that always keeps your dog below threshold
  • Veterinary collaboration where appropriate, including liaising on medication and providing a written report on request

Is this the right programme for you?

This programme is for you if your dog struggles to be left alone and you want expert, compassionate, science-based support to turn that around. It suits dogs whose worry shows the moment you leave, as well as those who unravel more gradually. It asks for commitment and consistency from you, and in return you gain not just a calmer dog but a real understanding of how to keep them that way.

If your dog’s challenges go beyond being left alone, our Behaviour Packages may be a better fit, and we are happy to point you in the right direction.

What happens after you book

Once your payment is confirmed, here is exactly what happens next:

  1. You will receive a confirmation email with your booking form and, where relevant, a vet health check form to complete at your convenience.
  2. You will be sent a link to our separation anxiety specialist’s diary so you can choose a day and time that suits you. We work Monday to Friday.
  3. Your assessment, and then your weekly reassessments, will be booked at your chosen time. If a slot is already taken it will move to the following week, so do check your dates when you receive your confirmation.

Before your first session, your specialist will review everything you have shared so you begin from an informed starting point on day one.
