• We welcome vaccinated puppies only and a copy of the vaccination needs to be e-mailed to us beforehand.

• Each dog needs a handler, if you are unable to attend one session and want another family member or friend to take over for that session, please practice the last weeks training at your home before attending to help your dog adjust and get the most out of training for that session.

• If you are concerned about any of your dog’s behavior or if you feel your dog is not good with other dogs, aggressive towards other dogs or people, please either e-mail or call us before booking so we can chat about your requirements. Should you feel you would benefit from one-to-one sessions before you and your dog enroll in the classes, we would be happy to so. Please contact us for details.

• Please arrive promptly for your class, you will need to be on site at least 5 minutes before classes start but please do not enter the training hall or class while another class is in progress.

• We want you to gain the most knowledge and succeed in training so, when booking we may discuss with you the most appropriate class for you and your dog.

• Dogs need to be exercised gently before each class. This allows them to go to the toilet and release a little bit of extra energy they may have in order to fully concentrate during the class. We recommend they are not fed a few hours before the class as we will be using food during the lesson. Please bring your own toys if your dog is more toy motivated.

• If your dog is ill, in season or has had an accident, we recommend you attend classes anyway without your dog. This is your dog class and you will still participate and then be able to practice at home if appropriate.

• We strongly encourage that everything you learn in class needs to be practiced at home during that week so you can progress next week.

• We will educate and teach you how to train your dog and operate a friendly, non judgmental class.

• You will need to bring a treat pouch (or suitable alternative) and plenty of your own small sized (fingernail sized) treats.

• We strongly encourage a positive approach and team spirit in our classes as it is a great place to make new friends. Be aware that everyone is of different training levels, experience and knowledge skills so please come with an open mind. Bullying, racism and disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated, you may be asked to leave with no refund.

• If your dog starts to become unsettled, we may ask you to do some different training exercises in order to help your dog.

• All dog foul must be picked up on site, bagged and put in a dog waste bin or taken home.

• Please keep your dog on the lead at all times including in the car park – never leave dogs in cars on warm days.

• We may at some stage during your 5 weeks take you out of the village hall to do real life dog training. We will let you know in advance so you can wear appropriate footwear and clothes.

• Please make sure your dog is wearing a flat collar (or harness) and lead to do training. We will not support the use of flexi leads, slip leads, choke chains, half choke, prong or e-collars during training. If you are unsure, please ask before booking.

• Places that are booked are at the discretion of the trainers.

• Please only bring the dog you have agreed to enrol on your booking form.

• Please let us know by phone or email if for any reason you can’t attend a class. Refunds or exchanges on classes are not accepted.

• Should any injury occur to you, your dog or any visitors during the class or on the premises it is not the clubs responsibility.
